For more than thirty years, the CENTER for PREVENTION of ABUSE has been a statewide leader to end abuse and make our homes, schools, and communities safer.

The CENTER for PREVENTION of ABUSE is the only agency in the state of Illinois to provide free combined services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, and elder abuse.
Annually, more than 5,000 women, men and children affected by violence and abuse are served by CFPA. CFPA offers school based abuse prevention programming to students pre-K through college age, reaching out to about 30,000 young people each year.
